As part of its strategy to consolidate in the high-voltage power conversion sector, Altes announces the acquisition of SDS High Voltage.
Located in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (Val-de-Marne), SDS High Voltage is a French benchmark in the design of miniaturized high-voltage converters (up to 50 kV), dedicated to the medical, laser, and research sectors, offering both standard and custom AC/DC and DC/DC products.
This acquisition strengthens the Altes ecosystem, already composed of SEF Power (expert in critical equipment for railway and automotive maintenance) and CNB Électronique (specialized in high-performance power supplies for the defense and nuclear markets).
"I am extremely pleased with the merger of these three companies, which allows us to offer a unique energy conversion service in France and internationally." – Samuel Rognon, President of the Altes Group
Gérard Curie, Technical Director of SDS HV, added:
"We are happy to now be part of the Altes group; it is a guarantee of sustainability that we wish to demonstrate. The complementary expertise of the group’s companies will strengthen our product offering."
Thanks to this synergy, the SEF Power / Altes group now benefits from:
- A comprehensive portfolio of highly customizable, miniaturized high-voltage power conversion solutions,
- Shared expertise in engineering, production, and testing of advanced electronic systems,
- A differentiated offering for critical markets: medical, defense, railway, and laser.
This expansion reflects an ambitious vision: to provide a structured, innovative, and competitive offering in France and internationally, based on recognized industrial and technological expertise.
